Rain, rain, go away. Come again some other day!
The words of the nursery rhyme I used to sing when I was little have just popped into my head as I sit here writing this week’s Thinking Outside the Blog and watching the rain cascading down as Storm Eunice sweeps across the country.
Now I’m sure you’ve had as much of the wet and windy weather as I have, so for this week’s blog I’m going to focus on another sort of cascade – Precise Mortgages’ cascade process.
In case you didn’t know, our system automatically filters cases through our tiers until an appropriate product is found without the need to reapply.
So say, for example, you’re approached by a customer who needs a residential mortgage, but who’s missed a loan repayment in the last couple of years. Instead of rejecting their application, we’ve got the ability to look for an alternative option which matches their credit profile. We can’t guarantee that we’ll always be able to place a case, but it does mean we can give you the best chance to find the lending solution your customer needs.
This could be perfect for customers with less-than-perfect credit histories who’re struggling to find the residential mortgage they need on the high street.
